Mostly for M!

Here is a picture of Marshall in the sweater my best friend from high school made him! (And yes, M., you can absolutely use it on your knitting site!) Here is how you steal a picture off the blog:
Right click the photo.
Left click Save Picture As
Open the file you wish to save it in
Make a name
Save!

Marshall enjoys eating. He likes to do it HIMSELF!
Anyhow, its time to go make him breakfast, so this is a short post, sorry!

I think my baby is cute.

These are mostly random photos, but Grandma, Gigi, and those other people that love my boy and miss him will definately appreciate them. The first two are from the 10th. Marshall got tired while we were playing peek-a-boo and hide in the tent.

This picture is from Feb 7th. I love how it looks just like a happy Marshall to me! I think he was happy because he just ate bananas and berries for lunch . . . his favorite!

This one id from Feb 6th. He fell asleep in the car and was so sleepy he STAYED asleep. Not often I get this pic!

Sorry thees aren't incredibly recent, but Grandma was here to visit and we were to busy playing to take and send pictures to the computer. Grandma did get me a Flip for my birthday, so I'll have to figure out how to get movies to You Tube to here so you can watch them!

cabin fever and more photos.

Marshall on Jan 30th being cute. He looks so happy! Just after I took the picture, I picked him up and discovered he needed new clothes. You can guess at the stinky reason why! Oh well, I'm sure Austin would agree that everyone feels better after doing that job!

Feb 2 being cute! He started in the middle of the blanket. He is trying so hard to crawl.

These two pictures are from this morning. Isn't he cute? He still loves his music player, grandma!

Ok, if you've been missing the random rants, here comes one for ya.
Why do people ask to be your friends on Facebook that you don't really talk to AND NEVER HAVE? What is the deal with high school people who never gave you the time of day wanting to be your new friend? Is it a contest to see who can have the most friends? Are they that bored? And why is it that the only people who Austin never knew in high school that want to be his facebook friends are girls? Do they not notice the pictures of his KID and the little thingy on the side of the page that says he's MARRIED? Sigh. I left Myspace for facebook, and I'm not convinced that either is that great yet.
And why do I watch American Idol ? I don't vote. I get annoyed with the little singers who throw tantrums and thank America all day. Hmmm.
Anyone know the answers?
Have to go. Someone is calling me! (Marshall . . . of course!)

More pictures

This is Marshall at Uncle Larry and Aunt Janet's house the day we flew home from Seattle. Thanks, GiGi for the super cute picture! We love his big grin! Something we miss when the teething makes him too miserable!
This is Marshall trying to get me when I tried to take his picture. I had him on his back aways away from me to take the picture because those jammies have a sheriff's star and say Daddy's Little Deputy. he rolled and rolled to get me. Silly baby.

Bath time! He's modest this time and everything! Hooray for the rubber duckies.
What is Marshall doing here? He looks so serious. He won't even glance at Mommy.
(Yes, GiGi. That is a Seahawks shirt!)

It's Elmo's World! Seriously, the little song comes on and Marshall's eyes go directly to the TV. No matter what he's doing. Makes Nursing at 1:45 a little tricky to say the least, so we mixed up his feeding schedule so he eats real food at 2. :)

This picture also highlights the new addition . . . . Austin's fancy TV. TaDa! And super cute pictures Brenda took.
If you're interested, you should cruise over to Trevor and Michelle's blog. Actually, it's Michelle's blog about her and Trevor. I don't think Trevor writes on it. Anyway, she posted pics of that Preggie belly! Atticus looks like he's growing really well!

Pictures from TODAY

How's that for fast service, family inWashington?!?
Marshall lieks to sit on the couch and watch mom make monkey sounds. Really, who doesn't? Thanks for showing me that he'd like them, Aunt Janet!

Awwww . . . . Cute . . . .

After the couch, he had lunch. So there was squash everywhere since today he decided to eat it HIMSELF. Silly baby. He was a mess so here he is during the changing of the clothes

Right after this he started crawling backwards. I think that's normal, right?
Anyhow, there's some stuff from my day.
Come see us sometime!

January Pictures of Marshall!

Here is a picture Marshall took all by himself.

He is eating my cell phone. This is a favorite hobby of his.

Here we are after he ate the cell phone. I am posting a picture of myself without my make up on ir doing my hair. Do I get a prize for that, or is that just what motherhood is?

This is Marshall on his favorite blanket that Grandma D made for him. He is getting SO BIG. When he was new, he only covered up a few squares! We took all these pictures on Jan 14th for those who like to know exact dates. (Grandmas mostly! Hello! We should webcam soon!)

On the 15th Marshall was feeling cranky. This crinkled up ad from a magazine finally made him happy. Now I know what the ads in magazines are really for!

This is Marshall on the 16th. If you couldn't tell, he LOVES to be naked. He also loves his toes. Isn't he adorable?
Speaking of moms thinking their kids are adorable, my wedding planner took some photos of Marshall for us when I was home for a visit at the begining of the month. She did a great job. Really, if you'll be in Western Washington and want to get some photos done, I'll give you her number. Anyhow, I guess she asked my mom yesterday if we would consider signing a model relase form for Marshall. She wanted to enter some of the pictures in a contest or sell them to a company or something. So I think, "Wow. My kid is CUTE. I bet he'll be adorable in a magazine ad or something!" Then I get rational. He'll probably be on a greeting card about getting old, crying, or poop. Oh well.
Marshall has started saying mom. But only when he's mad and wants my attention. Sigh. He giggles now, though. This is fun.
So, I've decided the life of a new stay at home mom is a little strange. I only talk to the baby. All day. I had thought it strange when my mom wanted to get me connected with another Washingtonian living in the desert who recently became a mommy. Now I think I'll score that girl's info. I'm getting cabin fever, I swear. Might have something to do with the current eternal inversion and inhaling copious amounts of pollution.
And Austin FINALLY has his big fancy TV! Everyone be happy for him! Come over and watch a movie on it with us sometime. Good news is the Blu Ray turns DVDs high def. Bad news is it'll probably be Disney or Sesame Street.

Merry Christmas!

Ok, not the most original title for a blog, but this mommy gets tired.
We took this pic today in a hat from Aunt Ashley. Way cute, huh? We made him wear that hat for like, hours. He doesn't like putting a hat on, but once its there, he doesn't really care. We had a way fun day. Last night I cooked Christmas dinner. My first turkey and everything! Then he got really cranky at Grandma Macs. He cried for a couple hours. But Santa still came. Big softie.
This is our boy yesterday morning. He can put his whole fist in his mouth. Takes after Uncle KK. Good thing we named him after him!
Marsahll eating prunes. The kid loves food. We're still looking for a food he doesn't like!
He got so spoiled this year. Good thing he's too little to know he's spoiled. He has so many toys! I'm going to have to buy him another toy bin. He was pretty jolly today at Grandma Becky's. He loved lots of his gifts and also thought the HUGE snow fort Daddy built was cool too. Seriously, this fort is as high as I am tall. Lots of snow made for lots of fun! Hope you all had GREAT Christmases! And we're so excited Trevor and Michelle are having an Atticus! Marshall needs a Butchart buddy. And someone to use all the hand-me-downs.

Christmas Fun with Baby!

Ok, so the real reason I'm posting these is beecause I need a reminder that Marshall is a cute little guy. He's been in a bad mood due to a tendancy to want to get up and play in the middle of the night. If it were all gumdrops and rainbows, Lindsay Lohan would get pregnant, right?

Here's Marshall Claus! We have Austin's family party tonight and Austin will be Santa, so we decided to make Marshall his little helper. I couldn't pick a favorite shot, so you get all three. Good for Grandmas, a little boring for you. I'm sorry.

Here's Marshall on the 17th. One of his favorite parts of the day is to get the mail with mom. It's cold here now, so Marshall has to wear his snow bear suit. Putting it on is not his favorite part, but he does enjoy wearing it, especially if he manages to eat some snow.

He is being noisy right now and a little cranky. Maybe I'll cheer him up by putting him in the bear suit and tossing him in the snow while it isn't too cold.
If I don't post before the big day, Merry Christmas everyone! I'm excited to see your holiday photos on your blogs too!

More Marshall, Of Course . . .

Here's our little man again! For those of you not into babies, sorry. In a little while it'll be toddlers, though! At the end of the post, I promise to put in some big people news, ok? Alright. Well, every once in a while Marshall teeths. He uses his binkie as a teething ring. This is how he does it. On purpose. For real.
I'm working on Daddy going to work being less upsetting for Marshall, so this morning we talked about Dad having gone to work so Marshall could steal his chair. Apparently, this was a big hit with the little guy.
He proceeded to tip himself over and watch more Reading Rainbow.

For older news, our waterheater kept leaking. Water heaters are not supposed to do that, so we had a plumber come and fix it. How exciting. Ummm . . . we wish it were snowier here. If its going to be cold, it better be pretty! That's what I say, anyhow.
OH! Austin got me a REAL tree this year! It smells nice. We got a little one so it would fit in the little corner. I like it. It makes me feel all Christmasy. If that's even a word. It isn't, is it? Oh well.
We'r done Christmas shopping, which is exciting, and getting ready to fly to Seattle on the 30th for KK's reception. That should be interesting with the baby, since he doesn't especially enjoy laps for long periods of time. I think we might have to bring cookies for the passengers next to us. Or buy them alcohol.
